What are custom phone cards?
Custom phone cards are similar to other ad specialty products that provide a custom logo imprint with prices based on the quantity purchased.
Why are promotional phone cards so popular?
One of the criteria for an effective promotional item is that it be both useful and highly valued by the recipient. In addition, the giver must have flexibility in pricing the reward (fits virtually any budget) and "tagging" it with a customized image. Phone cards can be customized (both visually as a pocket billboard and audibly via the customized voice greetings) and contain long distance calling time, which is a highly valued and extremely useful commodity for consumers (universal appeal: everyone uses them!). How do promotional phone cards differ over other ad specialty products?
Promotional phone cards differ because you can select the number of minutes of calling time to give away (5, 10, 30). That's a primary factor in determining unit cost and the contents of a 20 second voice message which are heard by each phone card holder before each call. As a result, phone cards are the only ad specialty products that deliver both a visual and audio promotional impact.
How do phone cards work?
Phone cards work as follows:
- 1. Card holders dial a toll free number printed on the back of each card
- 2. Callers then hear a standard voice prompt: "Please enter your PIN number now"
- 3. Callers then hear the "custom message" (optional). The message may say: "Another good call on ABC Automotive"
- 4. Callers then hear another standard voice prompt: "Please enter the number you wish to dial." Callers then enter a destination phone number.
- 5. Next, callers hear the final standard voice prompt: "You have "X" minutes remaining," before a call is connected.
At what point does the service begin to charge against the card and in what increments?
The service begins to charge when the other party picks up the call. The charge on the card is based on one-minute increments.
What happens if my funds are used up while on a call?
The caller will receive a warning message when one minute is remaining on the card. Once the last minute is used, the card will be cut off and service suspended until additional funds are deposited.
Can the cards include a customized voice greeting message?
Yes. The suggested consumer messages should not exceed the accepted 20-second tolerance level. Before the call goes through, the caller hears a message about your company or participates in one of the many interactive platforms.
How long is the card active?
The card is active for one year from the date it was printed.
Will the service work only on certain phones?
The phone cards work from any touch-tone phone in North America that allows access to a toll free number -- which includes virtually any phone, including pay phones, hotel phones, etc.
Do phone cards call everywhere?
Calling is restricted to the US and over 200 other countries. It should be noted that, if calling internationally, the cardholder receives a reduced minute balance based on the destination of the call.
How many minutes do phone cardholders get?
The initial minute balance varies depending on each promotional program's budget and objectives, i.e., the number of minutes you can afford to give away and the target audience. Standard promotional programs range from as few as 5 minutes too as many as 60 minutes (higher denominations are available for custom quotes).
How do callers know how many minutes are left on a card?
The initial minute balance is printed on each card, generally on the top of the card. Every time a card is used, callers hear a "Minutes Remaining" message before being connected to their destination number as a reminder of the time remaining on the card. When a call is completed, the number of minutes used is deducted from the previous balance.
How do I price a deal?

How do I order phone cards, what is the production timetable and process, and how do I pay for cards?
It is very easy to order cards:
- 1. Send or E-Mail us the artwork.
- 2. Determine the number of cards and minutes per card, attach the voice message script, then fax or mail the Purchase Order.
- 3. We fax back a paper proof with a picture of the card front.
- 4. Customer reviews and approves the proof.
- 5. Standard production time is 10-14 days after signed proof.
How do you know that all cards have been shipped?
We print phone cards with a sequential control number so that it is easy to verify card counts without having to manually count all cards (convenient with large orders).
Can Callers add time to, or "recharge" their phone cards?
Yes. All promotional phone card programs have this capability which must be specifically requested on the purchase order. When this option is enabled, the cardholder simply dials the customer service number on the back of the card, gives the live operator their credit card number and the time will be added instantly.

USA Dining Cards is a branded custom plastic card containing your logo and contact information. This unique program allows your customers access to an online network of thousands of restaurants across the U.S. -- including some of the hottest names in dining. Your customers can find member restaurants near them by using our search engine, and learn more about each restaurant by viewing their 'micro sites' featuring menus, wine lists, chef's bios and more. When they find restaurants they would like to visit, they can buy Dining Certificates with our Custom Dining Cards.
How are USA Dining Cards delivered?
After your customers complete their selection, they will be taken to a page with links to each Dining Certificate. They can print their Dining Certificates using their computer and printer. We also send them a confirmation email with links to their Dining Certificates in the event they would like to print their certificates some other time.
How long are the USA Dining Cards good for?
